its a hereditary type.his father is having. So please tell me any chances even I will get..? and how about baby?

Hi nina charles,

You and your husband are not relatives. A genetic disorder is something that can be passed from parent to child or anyone in your blood line-- you are not at risk for having Diabetes type 1 unless it is also in your side of the family. Any children that you have with your husband, however, are at risk of having type 1 Diabetes and this is something that you may want to share with your doctor when discussing family history.
