My Husband does not want me????

I have been married to my husband now for a month and 1/2.
Some background on my husband: he was a bit of a "playboy" and had plenty of BEAUTIFUL women like tall blonde fake boob women. He has depression prblems and alcohol problems.
I am brunnette and was 108 when we met. Yes I have gained some weight but im not fat. Still fairly skinny. I died my hair for him blonde. Yes I do need to get back in shape but i've been so busy taking care of him and school. (we are both college students)

However, recently, he has been saying everyday I hate my life, hate being married, your getting fat and im not attracted, i dont want to go out with you, im not the samefun guy everyone loved, etc... everything he says basically hurts me. Well normally its a "mood" and its over, but recently like these past two weeks, he's mentioned divorce. I love him and know he loves me. And know he couldnt be without me. But what do I do? Will getting back to 108 really fix it all? How do I get him to love me again or act like he doesnt hate me???? I dont want us to end.

Hi Amd0311,

How long were you and your husband together prior to getting married? Could it be that he feels like he jumped into marriage too soon?

Your husband may be going through depression right now-- you mentioned he had a history of depression and alcoholism. Is he seeing a psychiatrist or anyone for help? Is he willing to?

He certainly sounds unhappy but I don't think it's the few pounds you've gained; it really sounds like he is unhappy with his life at the moment. You can support him, try talking to him-- if he doesn't want to talk just leave him alone... sometimes that's all it takes.

If you need help finding help for him in your area please let us know and we will do our best to find a good doctor for him.

Keep us posted,

Rosa
