ask: My last period started on October 4th and ended on the 7th. I still have not gotten it yet for Nov. Am I technically late?

Hi Rebecca

Technically? I'm not sure what you mean by technically. Your menstrual cycle is not exact like a clock, so there is often a little variability in the length of a cycle. I wouldn't be concerned by this change. Whether you are late at all depends on how long your cycle normally is, but again, they can vary.

Thank you for writing.
