My left hand nails have turned yellow, where as right hand nails are very much normal. It would be really helpful if you can advise me on this.

Yellowing finger nails can indicate a number of health conditions.
--In the rare occasion it can indicate Yellowing Nail Syndrome which is caused by: lymphoedema, pleural effusion, bronchiectasis, compromised respiration, and chronic sinus infection.
--nail fungus
--diabetes
--smoking
--liver disease
--lung disease
--kidney disease
--nutritional deficiencies (notably iron and zinc)

Because of the wide range of possible causes, it is imperative you see a doctor to get a specific diagnosis.
