She had a bowel obstruction six months ago. Now she is having explosive diarrhea several times a week. Her appetite is diminished and she is weaker.

Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Thank you for reaching out to our community. I am so sorry to hear what your mother is experiencing and how it must be impacting your life.

I cannot say. You may want to have a conversation with the physician who is managing your mother.

Making her as comfortable as possible and spending as much time with her may be all you can.

Regards,
Maryann
