Thanks for your question.
Your neighbor needs to take her baby to the doctor first, to make sure that she has, in fact, thrush (even if she is sure that's what the baby has) and then talk to the doctor about what is ok for the baby to take.
The baby will be put in an anti-fungal medication and if your neighbor is still nursing, she may also be given an anti-fungal medication to put on her nipples.
