Hello, I am a virgin but I recently dry humped with my boyfriend. My clothes were on but his penis was out. He did not ejaculate but there was pre cm. Last month my period was very late but it eventually came on. This month my period is late and it has not came on and there is only 2 more days left in this month. I have NEVER missed a period. I am having symptoms that would suggest that my period is about to come on but unfortunately these are the same symptoms of early pregnancy. I have had the symptoms for about 2 weeks now. Am I pregnant? If not why is my period late? I have always had a regular period. I am very scared. Please help me. I am in my late 20s I know this sounds crazy but I need to know if it is at all possible that I can be pregnant. I have found answers but nothing that fit my specific scenario. We were dry humping but I was the only one with clothes. He did not cm on me but there was pre cm. Please help me.

Guide

Hello fatty magoo,

Welcome to the EmpowHER community. I can assure you that if you only engaged in dry humping, you are not pregnant. Your clothing acted as a barrier. Sperm in semen cannot get through fabric.

The menstrual cycle is regulated by a precise balance of hormones. Any upset will cause irregularities. High cortisol levels during period of high stress is one example. A problem involving the ovaries, such as polycystic ovary syndrome is another cause.

For a diagnosis of the cause of your recent menstrual cycle irregularities, you need to consult your gynecologist or primary care physician.

Regards,
Maryann
