Hi!
My period is late and I'm going mad of worry.
Last time I had sex (withdrawal) was in august and my period arrived a couple of days later, as expected.
In September, it started off with a few days of spotting but then carried on as normal. Now it is late. It looked like it was gonna start this morning because of some dark discharge but now it's light again !
I'm so stressed..
Please help me with some advice!
Thank you!

Hello Anon

Thank you for writing.

Pregnancy isn't possible if you had a period after sex and haven't had sex yet. But withdrawal sex isn't a good idea if the thought of pregnancy really stresses you out.
It sounds like you are quite late this month but that your period is here. Since the first few days last month were spotty, it's likely it's this way again this month. Some periods take sometime to come on properly. Your bleeding should be start properly in the next few days.
A pregnancy test can be taken if it will give you peace of mind. Some people like to see an actual result in their hands.
Best,
Susan
