My period usually last for 4 to 5 day with heavy flow but now last for 3 days and the flow is lighter now, what is the cause?

Thank you for writing.

Our periods are dictated by our hormones. A cycle that's a day less that's a bit lighter is not significant. It could mean your uterine lining was a little lighter this month.
