My question is about my IUD

My IUD was inserted last year December. Its been 8 months already. And now for the first time I missed my periods. Is it normal? And I don't see any risk of pregnancy bec. The last time we have sex with my husband was 2 days after my menstration and the thing is he withdraw it. Plsss. I want to know the answer.

IUDs are a great birth control option and offer high protection. From what you have described, plus the fact that you are on birth control, I would say your chances of pregnancy are extremely low.

However, the only true way to know is by taking a pregnancy test. It is possible you are having an irregular period, which can be caused by many things including medication, stress, travel and more.

If you still do not have your period next month and your pregnancy test is negative, it would be helpful to talk with a doctor.
