Q:

My vaginal fluid doesn't change during my cycle

Hi! I've been monitoring my vaginal discharge for a little over three months and I've noticed that it doesn't change throughout my cycle, it always stays creamy and white. I think it's not a yeast infection because it's not itchy and it's not foul smelling... it's just creamy and white. Some days it does get a little lighter, more liquid but not enough to say it is actually different... Should I be worried? I am 24 and I am not on any birth control pills or treatment, although I am sexually active. My BC method is based counting days, monitoring my discharges and not having sex when I'm ovulating. Also my periods are fairly regular. Thnx!

Hi Anon,

Thank you for sharing your question with the EmpowHER community.

If you are not experiencing itching, pain and/or foul odor, you are fine. White creamy discharge is normal and the fact there is only a slight change if any is nothing you should be worried about.

Be well,
