Hi Anon!

Thank you for your post!

When a woman is 43, she (and you) need to be realistic as to her chances of natural pregnancy. While some women get pregnant within a few weeks or a few months, a woman of 43 has about a 5% chance of conceiving naturally every month. Her risk of miscarriage is quite high.

How long has she been trying to get pregnant? If it has been over 3 months, I suggest you both visit a doctor straight away to look into other ways to get pregnant, like IVF . As a man of 39, you should also have your fertility levels checked. Please set up appointments immediately.

And keep trying in the meantime! Pregnancy is certainly possible - it's just a lot harder at 43.

Good luck, I wish you success!
