My Wife just turn 53 this 21st of April and she has had no Period in 4 months, and she is very Petite in size her normal weight is about 118 lbs and she is 98 lbs now! is she going through her Change of life? and as her husband what can I expect to see?

and her sex desire is lower a bit, and I understand this is normal for awhile? what do you think? what is going on? Thanks William

Your wife may be going through menopause, although a weight loss like she has had may cause her period to stop, regardless of menopause.

You don't really have to expect anything, other than a possible drop in her sex drive (which has happened) and possible mood changes, although many women have no issues like this in menopause. Her weight loss is of great concern and she needs to see a doctor about this straight away. If she was always thin, then a twenty pound weight loss within a few months is quite worrisome. In fact, menopause often sees a gain in weight, not a loss. Therefore she may have an underlying condition she's unaware of that's causing this loss.

Please advise her to see a doctor immediately.
