Sounds like a circulation issue (related to stress and cholesterol), which was most likely exacerbated by too much acid in your system. A water inonizer (Tyent MMP 7070 is amazing) or foods with high alkaline (vegetables or an amazing product like Vitamineral by Healthforce) content will help. You could have your pressure points stimulated where necessary to resolve circulation issues, but for long term you need to do Tai Chi or Yoga to move blood more easily throughout the body.

SOUNDS LIKE REACTIVE ARTHRITIS (REITER"S SYNDROME) OR SOME KIND OF SPONDYLOARTHROPY.

Hi amica,
Thanks for the additional information. We will ask one of our experts, to see if they can provide you with some relief and advice.

Let us know how the hydrotherapy goes, and we'll get back to you soon.

In the meantime, don't hesitate to get a 2nd or 3rd opinion!

Take care,
Alison B

Hi amica,

I am so sorry to hear this! Can you provide us with some more information, and we can try to help you with more information and resources.

When I was pregnant, I had some similar symptoms that you are experiencing, and mine was related to the sciatic nerve (the large nerve that extends down the spinal column to its exit point in the pelvis and carries nerve fibers to the leg). Pain in the sciatic nerve causes shock-like or burning low back pain combined with pain through the buttocks and down one leg to below the knee, occasionally reaching the foot.

Most importantly: Have you seen another doctor, for a second opinion?

1. How old are you? Do you have any other health conditions, or previous injury?
2. What do YOU think may be causing your back pain (what does your intuition say)?
3. Does your back, hip, leg and foot hurt all the time? Are there times of the day, positions and/or activities when they hurt more or less than others?
4. You mentioned these areas are also swelling, and your foot can not touch the ground. Is there pain in your foot, or is it tender or tingling? Or, is the pain still in your back/leg and you can't put your foot down.
5. Has your doctor discussed options for treating the pain?
6. Has your doctor suggested any lifestyle changes to make, including exercise or diet?
7. You said that your "whole right like swell's up". Do you have actual swelling, and if so, where is it located exactly? When, and under what circumstances do you have swelling?
8. Can you describe the pain: stabbing, dull, ache, sudden jolt, limited range of motion, etc. You can read more about the types of low back pain, and see if any of these symptoms similar to what you are experiencing: Low Back Pain from National Institutes of Health (NIH).

While you answer those questions, there are some alternative and complementary medicine practices that are used for lower back pain. Are you interested in learning more about:
- acupuncture
- chiropractor
- magnetic therapy
- hydrotherapy (application of water)
- massage

National Institutes of Health

Have you considered seeing a Naturopathic Physician for a 2nd opinion?
You can choose a CAM (complementary and alternative medicine) Physician at the site: NCCAM (National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine.

I'm 28, i have asthma and Inflamed Pelvic, I think it may have all started when i had a personal trainer at a gym he pushed me to hard to fast, with running, push up's, sit up's, i cant think of what else he got me to do. I really dont know is causing the back pain. The pain is pretty much in back all the time, Hip, Leg and foot the pain is there most of the time, the swelling is from my thigh to right down to my foot. When i cant put my foot to the ground there is pain in my back and if i can put my foot on the groud i can feel pain in my back. I get Tender and tinling and some times it feels like pins and needels. Im going to be doing Hydrotherapy very soon. I have tryed massage but the pain all hurts more and i tryed chiropractor too. The back pain can be any where from stabbing pain to ache, sudden jolt and sharp pain. Im on tablets for the inflamed pelvic but they are not doing mucha and im taking Panadol Osteo other than that my doc as not said what else i can take until he finds out whats wrong with my back. I hope this Inof helps u out more
