Hi I'm new to this but need some comfort and answers. I was taking a birth control pill for almost 10 full months but for off at the end of august. It was 2 days before I got off the pill that I had unprotected sex which was on September 1st. I then immediately after sex got back on it and took 5 of them that same day. Two weeks later I received my period that last between 4-7 days, can't remember exactly how long and it was as it always is every month. I then missed my period in October and had a positive test on November 1st, I found out two weeks later I was 8 weeks and 2 days pregnant. Did I concieve the day I had unprotected sex? I can't figure it out. I'm a little confused. Please help!,

If my husband and I had sex unprotected a week later, would that be the date I could have concieved as well?,

I'm sorry I meant it was 2 days after I got off the pill that I had the unprotected sex. I thought if I got back on right away and took enough to prevent the ovulation I wouldn't get pregnant. The doctor said I probably got pregnant September 22 or in that week of that month. I just didn't know if I conceived that same day or if I did on another day that I had unprotected sex as well. Me and my husband had sex a few days after that night as well.

Welcome to the EmpowHER community. Indeed, you would have conceived on the day that you had unprotected intercourse following your last period. Generally, ovulation occurs 14 days after the last day of your period. A woman is fertile or most likely to conceive five days before ovulation and on the day of ovulation.
