Next Choice One Step-Nervous!

So I got my period on August 1st. My boyfriend and I had sex on August 5th at 2 or 3 in the morning. He didn't go all the way in me and didn't cum. I also had a tampon in. My period ended today, August 6th. I read online that its very unlikely to get pregnant while on your period and since I had a tampon in, he didn't cum, and didn't go all the way in I feel the chances are even more unlikely. I did buy the Next Choice One Step pill today just in case to reduce the chances even more, about 30 hours after having sex. I'm still worried though that there is that slim chance of being pregnant. I need some reassurance and advice. Please write me back!

Hi AnonymousGirl12,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  If you had your period and had a tampon on, it's unlikely you will be pregnant.
