I am going to speak to you as a mom. Relax and get a good night's sleep.
As a nurse and mother of 3, I really don't think that you are pregnant. But, please be more responsible and pro-active in the future.

Hi,
Stress can cause a delay in the start of a period. Remember, if one sperm gets into your vagina when an egg is waiting to be fertilized, then you can conceive and get pregnant. To avoid going through this again, you need to use an effective form of birth control. Condoms are fine, but as you know, they can break. Make an appointment with your doctor, visit a health clinic or Planned Parenthood. If you are going to be sexually active, you need to be responsible and protect yourself, not only from an unwanted pregnancy but STDs.

Hi,
Try to relax. Stress can cause a delay in the start of a period. Since this sexual encounter happened 3 days before you expected to get your period. it is very likely that you already ovulated. Generally, ovulation occurs 14 days before the start of a menstrual flow. Ovulation is when one ovary releases an egg. The egg travels through a fallopian tube and waits to be fertilized. An egg lives about 12 to 24 hours after release. If not fertilized by a sperm, it degenerates. However, you must remember, that sperm on your genital area can swim into the vagina. So, even without penetration, genital to genital contact can achieve this.
Again, relax and wait a few more days. I think it is very unlikely that you could be pregnant. If you are late by a week, you can always take a home pregnancy test. Follow the directions carefully for the most accurate results.
