Q:

No period in 7yrs

I've been on birth controls for 7 years and I have not had a period the whole time. I just wanted to know if that is normal and would that have an effect my abilities to have more children? Thank you.

Hi Anon,

Birth control pills don't usually cut off your period entirely. Some will reduce them to 4 times per year, but not for 7 years. Have you ever talked to your OB/GYN about this?

Please schedule an appointment if you haven't done so already and keep us posted.

Best Wishes,

Rosa
