my partner is 61 of age a little over weight , drinks around 3ltrs of whisky in a week at home, she works .
over the last week she has been suffering from nose bleeds also she blows out clots of blood from her nose. she has suffered from these bleeds before, the doctor gave her some cream to rub in her nostrils. but this time it is not doing her any good, I beg her to go back to the doctor but she always has good reason not to go.
please can you advise

I agree with you. She should see her doctor to have these nose bleeds re-evaluated.
Her doctor may be able to prescribe something else and/or investigate further to see what else might be going on.
