When I was 13 I had an appendectomy and expoloratory for a ruptured appendix. i've always had pain on my right ovary. I had a drain poorly removed there and there is a big dent. A week before my period begins I have a constant pain on my right ovary. Occasionally it can be severe . . .

How old are you now? (How long ago was your surgery, and you've "always" had pain in your right ovary...has this been after surgery or before? Has it been evaluated by a doctor?)

Please know that pain, especially severe pain, is not normal and should be checked by your doctor. It may be nothing (do not be too scared), and can be treated with hormones, pain medication or other means. I just wanted you to know that anytime you experience pain, this should be checked by a doctor.
