I took both pills in one dosage, is this dangerous or less effective? Also, what are the usual side effects after taking the pills and how soon after? I took the pills about a 17 days ago and now I'm spotting ( not heavy but blood is present). Could this be a side effect?

Yes, taking the two doses of Postinor 2 within two hours of unprotected sex will be effective in preventing pregnancy.

An emergency contraceptive pill prevents pregnancy by preventing ovulation.
Most women ovulate between day 11 and day 21 of their menstrual cycle.
Postinor 2 can cause your next period to start later than expected.
That being said, if you do not have any bleeding within three weeks of taking the pill, or this period does not start in the next two to five days, test for pregnancy.

She will know if it worked once she has bleeding.
Postinor 2 prevents pregnancy by preventing ovulation. It works best if taken before ovulation or mid-menstrual cycle, as soon as possible and within 72 hours or three days of unprotected sex.
If she has no bleeding within three weeks of taking the pills, then she tests for pregnancy.

Hi. My girl took p2 10hrs after we had sex. It was her first time of having sex. She complained of ache in her stomach after sex (before taking the p2). She was so worried she took another dose of p2 40hrs from the time of sex. Now she has rashes on her face and she's bleeding. Is that symptoms of overdose or is it normal? She was in her free period when we had sex. She took the p2 to be double safe.

Please I took two pills of postinor 2 at a time 30 minutes after sex. Will the pills still work regardless of the fact that I didnt wait 12 hours hours to take the second pill

The pill should still work even though you took the two doses at the same time. You will know that it did work once you have vaginal bleeding or your next monthly period.

Hi, i accidentally took two postinor 2 pills at once without knowing i have to take the second pill 12 hours later. Will taking 2 pills at one dosage still make me pregnant?
