I took both pills in one dosage, is this dangerous or less effective? Also, what are the usual side effects after taking the pills and how soon after? I took the pills about a 17 days ago and now I'm spotting ( not heavy but blood is present). Could this be a side effect?

You need to be evaluated in person by your gynecologist or visit a women's walk in health clinic. You may have caused a hormonal imbalance in your body when you took an emergency contraceptive three days after finishing your menstrual period.

I have not had sex in two years until 8pm of 6th

after which I took two tablets of postinor2 as a
single dose with an anti-malaria tablet called
fansidar around 11pm of the same day. Realizing
that I took an overdose of postinor2 I took two
spoons of palm oil as a measure against the
overdose. On the 9th of November, my body gave
me signs I usually do have when my menstrual
period(which is due) is about to start but till now
there has been no bleeding. I am worried because
since the morning of the fifth day, I have been
feeling nausea, tired, having cough and sore throat
so I went for a PTest which states negative.
Please, I need you to kindly explain to me what is
likely to be happening. Am I pregnant?

If you have not had any vaginal bleeding within three weeks of taking Postinor 2, then take a pregnancy test. Nausea, fatigue, cough and sore throat may indicate you have a virus.

you cant be feeling signs of being pregnant that early,however it might be some sort of std which you might have contracted,the symptoms you just decirbed is quite alraming;get tested in a month or two..

They are, i repeat:
1. Pains while urinating which has stopped since the
past two weeks now
2. Pains by the side of my stomach which has also stopped
3. I experienced 3 days vaginal bleeding few days after
taking the drugs, but am still worried if am pregnant
or not because i have not conducted any test on that
and have not started experiencing any pregnancy signs.
Please Ma'am, once again i need to be sure if there is
any possibility of getting pregnant with this signs that i

Three days of vaginal bleeding after taking Postinor 2 means you are not pregnant, and the pill worked.
Pain with urination can mean you have a urinary tract infection. Pain in your upper abdomen (stomach) could indicate anything from gas to a reaction to something you ate.

i had sex with my wife before her sept. period, and she took postinor 2 afterward and her period came later, but we later discovered that she is pregnant. I hope the drug won't affect the baby?

I and my girlfriend had unprotected sex on the day of her ovulation. That was about three weeks ago. And now she has not seen her period. We are scared she could be pregnant. Someone advised us to us postinor2. I want to know if the drug could still be effective. Because we are not planning of having a baby yet. What is your advise on this? If we can't use postinor2, is there another alternative because we don't want kids at the moment? Please reply as soon as you get a chance.
