I took both pills in one dosage, is this dangerous or less effective? Also, what are the usual side effects after taking the pills and how soon after? I took the pills about a 17 days ago and now I'm spotting ( not heavy but blood is present). Could this be a side effect?

Well to be more specific, she is actualy facing stomach bloating, since the day she took postinor 2 then until now after the so called ' period' she still having the problem

Hello Anonymous,
I suggest your girlfriend consults her healthcare provider. A physical exam can determine the cause of the stomach bloating, and a hCG blood test can determine pregnancy.

Hi,
I had an unprotected sex but my boyfriend didn't cum inside me, I asked healthcare nearby and they told me to still get the morning pill just to be safe. So I took postinor 2 and i've been experiencing 3 days bleeding since the night I took the first pill, and it's quite a heavy bleeding. Is it normal? How long usually the bleeding will happen? I always have irregular period, like 3-4 times a year only my period comes, and is the heavy bleeding also caused by my irregular period? How do I know if the pill really works?

Heavy bleeding indicates that Postinor 2 was effective. In some situations, Postinor 2 can cause a woman to have a heavier, as well as a lighter, than normal menstrual flow. If you continue to experience a heavy flow for more than five days, contact your health care provider.
