Me an my bf had sex on the 17th of July a day after my period had ended at the end it almost looked like the condom broke I went an filled it up with water from what I could tell nothing dripped out but I still got plan b to be safe. About five days after I had started spotting an light cramping which then turned into a normal bleeding for about 4 or 5 day. My next expected period was to be august 5th an now going on 10 days late. Which has me worried I got clear blue pregnancy test an did two both with morning urine on the 10th and 11th an both were negative an now did an ovulation test an the result window was lighter than the reference window I have been having a clear stretchy or white discharge most of past two days (Which is normal before my period) an trying to figure out if this is ovulation or something to deal with pregnancy any help would be great and appreciated. Now mean my bf had sex since this all about fours each time with a condom and I have been checking each one.

Hello and thank you for choosing EmpowHer,
There are several reasons your symptoms are not related to pregnancy and I'll explain why.
First of all, the condom did not break. Secondly, normal side effects of Plan B is cramping and spotting/bleeding. Your period is late most likely because of hormonal imbalances caused by take EC. You had just come off your period, then you bled again a few days later due to the EC. At this point your hormones need time to get back on track.
You can trust the pregnancy test results and relax. Your period will return to normal after a few cycles. This is very common scenario for women who take emergency contraception.

Thank you for the answer an it helps ease a little bit I just would really like to have my period so I can start birth control an maybe get back to normal. I wish there was a way to tell if it was coming period an pregnancy symptoms all seem the same. The reason I was so worried with the condom was the water dripped around the sides Since I over flowed it but my mind is everywhere that I scare myself into thinking I saw something that didn't happen.

If you wish to start oral birth control pills, there are plenty of options which do not require you to start them on the first day of your period. So if you wish to start taking them now you can.

Vaginal discharge in the natural way the vagina eliminates waste. This can happen at any time and is normal.

It is not necessary to have a regular period unless you are trying to get pregnant or you have severe symptoms such as fainting, fever, chills, debilitating cramps etc related to a problem in your reproductive system.
