i got my period and the 19th of December and finished on the 24th..i had intercourse on the 2nd and also the 10th...anyway on the 14th i was brown discharge then it turned into a light bleed with many blood clots and it went for about 2 days which is not normal for me..anyway i took a test and it was a BFN so i thought it must of been a very weird period..so i looked at all my last periods to see a pattern so i was meant to ovulate on the 28th or 29th of Jan (i think o got EWCM on the 28th ) so i thought no worry so me and my hubby did the deed every second day of my fertile stages..so its the 2nd which makes me about 6 DPO anyway i just went to the toilet and wiped and there was EWCM again....it really makes me confused..i know it wasn't sperm because sperm normally dissolves on the toilet paper which this didn't..im so confused ..i did a test and it was a BFN it would be a great help if i could get some answers :)

Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  If you got your period afterwards and also took a home pregnancy test as instructed and got a negative result then you are most likely not pregnant. The brown discharge might have been due to your period and PMS. You might want to continue monitoring your cycles and any irregular bleeding.  Many other conditions can also cause changes and bleeding to a woman's body. Hope this was helpful?

Best,

Daisy
