Pain in arm after flu shot

I had a flu shot Sept. 2008 and remember it hurt when given. Since then I have pain in my upper arm and shoulder (it's now been a year). I believe it is nerve damage from the needle going to deep. I have had an MRI. meds and now going to Chiro with no relief. I cant't put my arm behind my back or lift it over my head and forget about putting weight on it. Does anyone know of relief for this condition?

Thanks

What is your email address? I can tell you everything. I am having the exact same problem. I got my flu shot on 11/10/14 (administered by a nursing student at a health clinic), and I remember the shot going in higher on the arm than usual. I had normal localized pain for the first few days, then nothing until a month later, when I stated getting extremely painful stabbing, throbbing, pains in my arm at the site of the shot. I also developed pancreatitis around the same time, although, it is presumed to be unrelated. The pain is far worse in the evening and at night or when it is cold. Tylenol and a heating pad seems to be the best thing for relieving the pain for me.

I had a flu shot on October 23, 2014. It seemed like it was given higher in my arm than usual and since then, I have had severe arm pain. It wakes me up in the night, I can't take my shirt off without using the opposite arm to pull it off. When I turn the steering wheel a certain direction in the car, it hurts terribly. It is miserable. What is causing this??

I got my flu shot from a free clinic my city was conducting, I have gotten them before, just normal sore arm for the day of and maybe one day afterwards. It is going on three weeks now. I have such pain from the injection site down my arm. I cannot hold my purse or lift things with out having pain, In the mornings i cannot strength my arm at all terrible pain. It is hard to sleep, I feel bad all over from the pain in my arm. If I am not better by the end of January, I will have to go to my doctor to see if she can help with the pain.

I would like to talk to you about my injury. Are you researching all women or a certain demographic? I am Canadian and had my flu shot in October. 2014 in Toronto.

I also received the flu shot this year and my arm has been killing me! It hurts to drive, put on a coat, shower..... If I leave the arm in one position for any time at all, its like I am not able to move it.

I just got on to check and see if this was a problem with others. I got a flue shot back in Sept and since then have had pain in my right arm starting at the injection site and going up into my shoulder and down my arm into my fingertips. Makes it very hard to type. Any ideas or suggestions for what will help?

I am having the same problem, from the injection site down through my wrist and into my thumb. Its like a dull annoying pain. I keep rubbing my forearm and hand and shaking it, nothing is helping.....

I received a flu shot a couple weeks ago and at first the pain afterward was just a little stiff. Now, mainly at the end of my work day when I do a lot of writing, I have this sharp pain run down my arm like someone is taking a razor and slicing my arm; feels like a fresh cut every time. It hurts all the way down to my hand. I have to stop and rest for a minute to get the pain to stop but once I start writing again, it starts hurting again. I think I may have to see a physician soon. This has never happened before when I got a flu shot

had my flu shor administered two months ago. I had normal soreness but then it persisted and has been getting worse. I have difficulty putting my arms over my head and certain movements cause sudden sharp pains close to the injection site. I saw my sociopath today and am hoping that after a few sessions she will help provide me with some relief. I will update and hope that it may help some of you.
