ask: Pain on both sides of lower stomach

Had really bad heartburn that started about 2 weeks ago took over the counter medicine for it and it has gone away now I have a slight pain on both sides of my lower stomach. Whatcould this be?

Since your ovaries are located exactly where you feel the pain, some of the possible causes of your pain include: twisting of an ovary (ovarian torsion), rupture of an ovarian cyst, ectopic pregnancy, or Pelvic inflammatory disease.
