Pain in throat

I have pain from under left tonsil till base of left side throat. It even makes swallowing painful for last two weeks. Doctor gave me antibiotics. That helped in reducing fever and pain doesn't happen in day time but starts again in afternoon. Feels like back of left side throat is bruised. Tender spot at the base of left side throat. Pain even goes up till my left side jaw. With psi in killer pain subsides yhough. Returns again. Worried.

You will need to return to your doctor again.
Antibiotics are used for bacterial infections - if your issue is due to a virus, they won't work.
A virus in the body can cause swelling in the glands around the neck and throat - a blood test can let you know if you have a virus and what kind.
You also may have severe tonsillitis that is caused by a virus - this can take a couple of weeks to heal.
I hope you feel better soon - throat pain and discomfort is very distressing.
