pain under armpit

I have a burning sensation and pain and swelling under my armpit what could this be. I dont have the pain all the time mainly in the evening.

Welcome to EmpowHER. The pain under the armpit can be due to many things such as irritation or rubbing from the clothes, an infection, swelling of the lymph nodes and many other. You need to see a doctor if the pain does continue or if you feel any changes to the area. Hope this was helpful?
