Yesterday I had a ultrasound scan of my uterus.... . report was polycystic ovaries both sides... I had my menstrual cycle since I was 11 years.... Had regular periods every month..... but severe stomach pain on 1st day of menses ...... My body weight suddenly increased..... Aug 14.2017 was my last periods... I missed my periods for sept month and I noticed slight and little bleeding since Oct 3. ...had Slight and very little bleeding up to Oct 13.... Had ultrasounds scan on 13th Oct.... What might. be the reason.... How to get rid of those cysts is there any permanent cure

Polycystic ovary syndrome a hormonal disorder causing enlarged ovaries with small cysts on the outer edges. The cause of polycystic ovary syndrome isn't well understood but may involve a combination of genetic and environmental factors.

Symptoms include menstrual irregularity, excess hair growth, acne, and obesity.
Treatments include birth control pills to regularize periods, a medication called metformin to prevent diabetes, statins to control high cholesterol, hormones to increase fertility.
