Hi, So I had sex about two weeks before my period last month and I got it on time. I was away for the whole month in France and lost a few pounds but then gained it all quickly back when I got home. I was due for my period on August 4 or just around there and I still haven't gotten it. It was protected sex with a condom and no breakage from what we saw. What is going on ?

Hello Anonymous,
Travel, changes in weight and stress can cause a delay in the start of your period. Since you use protection during sexual intercourse, there is a very low risk that you might be pregnant. Condoms are not 100% effective in preventing pregnancy.
If you do not get your period by September 4, take a pregnancy test.
