Period late

hello! My gf have been late for 4 days and still do not have any sign of period. What could it be? We did not have sex and only did mutual masturbation (hj & bj only). We actually did have genital contact WITH condom but since then she already had 2 normal period.(two months back)
She is suppose to get her period last 4 days considering she is regular 28-29 days. As far as her concern, she did not miss nor have late period before. She was stressed by her exam last 2 weeks, could this be one of the factor?

Hello jandas,

It is quite possible that stressing over exams is the cause of your girlfriend's late period.

During times of high stress, cortisol levels increase. In response, the body "shuts down" non essential functions. The menstrual cycle is one such function.

Once exams have been completed, and she can unwind and relax, her period may start. If she does not get a period for the month, she may consider speaking with her gynecologist or primary care physician. This would be to rule out any underlying hormonal imbalance.

is pregnancy completely unrelated to this scenerio of the post? Her exam was over last tuesday. I really have no idea what is going on.
Thanks!

Hi jandas,

Pregnancy can be ruled out based on what you stated in your initial post. Without unprotected vaginal intercourse since her last normal period, she would not be pregnant.
