I had a regular period then like a day after it was over I had red blood on my underwear. Then it was over that same day. Sense then I had sex twice and it hurt. I don't know what this means. Is it normal? Am I pregnant? What's going on?

Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Not always is vaginal bleeding abnormal. Most women will experience bleeding at some point in their lives. The bleeding and pain can be due to vaginal dryness and this can cause it to irritate when there is friction. It's always good to be checked by a gynecologist, there are other conditions such as PCOS, ovarian cancer, certain medications, infection of the pelvic organs and many other that can also cause vaginal bleeding and should be treated immediately. Hope this has helped?

Best,

Daisy
