Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to the EmpowHER community and thank you for reaching out to us with your question.

It sounds like you have entered perimenopause. It is a transition time when estrogen levels fluctuate. Menstrual cycles may lengthen or shorten. You will begin to have menstrual cycles in which you do not ovulate.

During perimenopause, you may experience hot flashes, sleep problems and vaginal dryness.

Women start perimenopause at different ages. Some women experience signs, such as menstrual irregularity, in their 40s while others notice changes as early as their mid-30s.

Does this answer your question?

Regards,
Maryann
