Hello,
I am really worried.. my period was due on 18th of Nov but it's delayed for 24 days now. My husband and I had protected sex in the month of November however 2ce or 3 times it turned out to be unprotected. Also to state.. I don't feel any symptoms of pregnancy except my period is delayed.
To add on, I had a history of PCOD and was under medication . It is very recently that I stopped the medication as per the doctors instructions.
ALL the months of the year my period cycle was good. only in November it has delayed. am still waiting for my period to come.is this okay? ARE there any chance that I am pregnant.
Please clear my confusion. AS we are not ready for a baby now.

That was my only other thought..if you had an actual menstrual period with your regular bleeding each month, and then in-between experienced bleeding that was more like spotting.

Women can spot in-between periods, especially when taking hormonal contraception (birth control pills, for example), and this is called "breakthrough bleeding". Spotting is different than light bleeding, however, as only a panty liner would be needed for a day (possibly two days). If you experienced more bleeding that you would consider light bleeding (you needed more than just a panty liner for the day), then that may be more than just "breakthrough bleeding". If this is the case, a quick call to your doctor's office would be helpful to ask their opinion.

Are you taking any type of hormonal birth control?

I was on birth control but I got off of it because I keep getting headache. And this has not happend to me before. But my boobs are very sore and my tummy feels like I have to puke but then nothing. And I'm so very bloated?

Hi,
In May, you had a period that lasted for 5 days (8th-12th), then another one just 7 days later, that lasted for 3 days (18th-20th).

Then, 10 days later, you had another period that lasted 7 days (June 11-22nd), and then still, 10 days later, you had another period lasting 4 days (22nd-25th).

I am not sure your age, if you have any other medical conditions, and if all of these episodes included period-like bleeding (light-heavy-light), or if some of these days were spotting...or some combination.

The best suggestion is to call your doctor, since this you have been bleeding 23 days out of the previous 46 days (May 8- June 22), and have not had a period for July.

It is important to rule out any underlying medical conditions; it may just be a very irregular menstrual cycle or two...but please call your doctor and let us know what you find out!
