Plan B and Birth Control

I have been on birth control pills for 3 years and I always take them regularly. I was put on amoxicillin last month and was told it could interfere with my pill, so my boyfriend and I used condoms the whole month (I continued taking my birth control as well). I finished the antibiotics on the wednesday before I stopped my "active pills". I had sex without a condom on the night I took my last "active pill". I was worried about the fact that the antibiotics may still interfere so I took the plan b the next morning, on the first day of my sugar pills. Normally I get my period on wednesday or thursday of the sugar pills and it's now friday and still no period. I took a hpt last night and it was negative. Could the Plan B have messed up my period?

I had unprotected sex sunday may 3rd and my period was due wednesday may 6th . Even though chance of ovulation days before your period is uncommon i took a plan be around 64 hours after the sex. My period ended up being late and just came sunday may 10th. Best thing to do is NOT stress. I've also taken plan b on 3 previous occasions and it has never let me down.

I'm in a certain situation as well, I'm on birth control and took my bc pill the next morning bc I didn't have it that night, that day I had sex but that was my last pill for the month and honestly I don't think any got inside of me but I paniced and took plan b anyway then continued with my bc for the next month. Should my period be delayed bc that was so much extra hormones?

I had sex on the 2nd of January, took the pill that night and saw my period the next day. The next month was supposed to see my period on the 31st of January had unprotected sex during that time and took EC pill like 3 times after each session. My period is about 6 days late and am terrified to get a PT strip , can this be normal or should I just get the test already.

I am having the same exact situation. Sort of. He pulled out, but someone said that pre ejaculation occurs and could still get me pregnant. I took my last birth control pull the night we had sex and started sugar pulls the next day. Then I got nervous and bought plan b 59 hours after sex. I have no idea when my period will start. But I have never hoped for a period so bad in my entire life.

See I only took plan b once, and I have this app. Where it should tell you when you get your period, so I took plan b last month on the 13 and I got my period on the 23, Okay.. so this month I should had gotten my period on the 21 but not yet I'm two days late but I'm having my symptoms (cramping, bloating, back pain, headaches ) but still no period, I am so paranoid, but could plan b make my period late the next month?

Thankyou for taking time. Reading this..well its complicated. For .me…see, on nov 26 me and my girlfriend had. Sex and we I didn’t. Had any protection but still I bought her plan b pill. (1dose) just in case..3 weeks later we had sex again but this time. The. Condom broke just a. Few seconds before “cuming” inside her, I bought her the pill again cuz I might of “cum” inside her a little…and I know the pill is bad. For you thts why. She’s never taking it again..but one. Week after she said she got her period earlier, I think because. Of the pill, but I’ve heard about implantation bleeding ..now its been about 6. Weeks now she took two home pregnancy test and both negative..but now she’s late a week for her period…could the pill make it late?? Do you think. She’s pregnant? I’m stressing a lot about this..and she’s scared aswell..please help I will really appreciate it thanks

First and foremost, you took the test way too early for it to even work. Secondly, yes, plan B will interfere with your menstrual cycle -- that's what hormones tend to do.

The same thg is happEning to me. My period is like a month late and I have taken 3 pregnancy tests all of them have been negative my 4 th one tmrrw. I've had cramping nausea all of the above. I took plan b twice in one month (my boyfriend and I were being really irresponsible at the time) my period came early in September seems to have skipped October and now almost all of November. I'll be going to the clinic for a blood test becaue I am terrified.

I am in your situation now. Did you ever start your period? Or did you end up being pregnant?
