I had unprotected sex back in December I had accidentally skipped some of my birth control pills (I have been taking them for about 2 and a half years) so I took a plan b pill. I got my period in December and it was how it normally is. We didn't have sex after that. I continued my birth control pill routine and In January my period came and was normal for about 5 days. Then After those five days I had about another week of very very light Spotting. Now it's February and my period is still really really light. We had sex once but it was literally for about 20 seconds. Is the plan b screwing up my period or is there a bigger problem? HELP!

G10244,
I'm sure it's the Plan B. There are hormonal changes associated with Plan B and one of the most common symptoms is a change in the menstrual cycle. Especially since this started in the cycles right after you took Plan B -- it's pretty clear that it would have been the cause. Some women have even larger changes in their cycles, such as two periods in one month or skipping a month altogether. So it affects everyone a little differently. I would guess since you are back regularly on your pill that your cycle will return to normal next month or the month after.

Ps. This month(February) I've also had all of my usual menstrual cramps and breakouts.
