I took the Plan B pill on March 31st in the morning. I had sex the night before. It is now April 6 and I am just starting to get abdominal pain. I could barely sleep on April 5th. I had a pot pack on my stomach that worked for a while, but stopped. I have been getting hot, then cold and even a little nauseous , but I do not vomit. My period is due April 11th. Should I be worried ? Can I take anything to stop the cramping. I WILL NEVER DO THIS AGAIN OMGGGG

Pregnancy??? I took the pill within 10 hours of having sex. I had sex on the March 30th , I was so paranoid so I took the plan B on the 31 within 10 hours. Is it really possible ?

Hello Jailynnjhn,

Welcome to the EmpowHER community. Thank you for reaching out to us for help. I cannot recommend any relief for the cramping other than using a heating pad, but urge you to contact your gynecologist or primary care physician. The feeling of hot then cold and nausea need to be evaluated.

Plan B can cause changes in the menstrual cycle. Your next period may start on April 11, or earlier or later than expected. Flow might be lighter or heavier than normal.

If you do not have any bleeding within three weeks of taking Plan B, then you should test for pregnancy.

Regards,
Maryann
