Sometimes when I have sex, there seems to be a wall in my vagina that blocks the penis from going very deep, and I can feel a strong and painful pressure.

Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  Many things can cause pain during intercourse.  From swelling due to Endometriosis and many other conditions.  You need to get a check up with your OBGYN, so he can examine you.  It might not be nothing serious,  sometimes dryness can also cause a woman to feel discomfort during intercourse.

Best,

Daisy

Endometriosis is an often painful disorder in which tissue that normally lines the inside of your uterus, the endometrium, grows outside your uterus. Endometriosis most commonly involves your ovaries, bowel or the tissue lining your pelvis. Endometriosis can cause pain. Sometimes severe, especially during your period.

Common signs and symptoms of endometriosis may include:

Painful periods, Pelvic pain and cramping may begin before and extend several days into your period and may include lower back and abdominal pain.

Pain with intercourse. Pain during or after sex is common with endometriosis.

Best,

Daisy
