My last suspected period was back on Nov. 13-16, with a very heavy bleeding incident two weeks later. I had my i.u.d. removed about two weeks ago, due to complications. Now i havnt had a period yet this month, and my husband has started joking at how much "bigger" my breasts have gotten, im incredibly thirsty all of the time, feel very sick at random times but without vomit and to say the least im starting to wonder if i could be pregnant. whats the earliest i can do a home test? Even though my period is technicaly late, i had the i.u.d.

I do not know much about IUDs, but aren't you techncally late since your last period was mid-November? I don't think the IUD is 100% effective and I don't know what kind of complications you were having.... I guess what I'm trying to say is take a test now - you can test pretty early these days, i believe (my last baby will be 13 soon, so I don't know for sure what' s out there). The thirst concerns me - you're not diabetic, are you? Because the excessive thirst and nausea are two symptoms of diabetes. Good luck to you and I'll be anxious to hear the results!
