Hi i have unprotected sex with my bf and i forgot to take the 2nd tablet of postinor2 (2 tabs) after 12hours. If i take the 2nd tab after 18-19 hours of the 1st tab, is it effective still? Please advise. Thanks a lot!

Hello Becca321,
Postinor 2 is 95% effective in preventing pregnancy when taken as directed. Logically, the later you take a dose, the less effective it will be.
Taking the second dose a little late, like a difference of two hours, will probably not make a difference in how effective the pills are.
However, seven hours later may make a difference. You could always ask the pharmacist.
