Q:

pre-cum and risk of pregnancy

on the 10th day of my cycle i had unprotected intercourse with my boyfriend. he didn.t ejaculate anywhere near me,and this happened long after the contact. during intercourse he checked to see if he had pre-cum on his penis many times. Because of an accident that occured on day 5, i took a morning after pill on day 7.
Taking to consideration that he had not ejaculated before, so pre-cum was unlikely to contain sperm, and that as far as i know the morning afer pill can delay ovulation and also alter the lining of the uterus to prevent implantation, i thought that the risk of becoming pregnant was small, but i wanted to hear the opinion of someone with more experience. pelease, tell me: exactly how slim are the chances of becoming pregnant?

also, on the 13th day i got brown discharge. is this considered a normal side effect of taking plan b?

Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  Anytime, you have unprotected sex your chances of pregnancy to occur are higher.  According to Plan B, some of the side effects can be nausea, lower abdominal pain, fatigue, dizziness and changes on your next period.  Such as a longer or shorter, heavier or lighter.  You might want to wait until your period is due and take a home pregnancy test.

Best,

Daisy
