Precum and Birth Control

About a week and a couple days ago I ended a set of antibiotics. But I’m not sure if my birth control is effective again or not. Still, me and my boyfriend had sex without a condom (he didn’t ejaculate in me, but there was most likely precum) and an hour later we had sex again but he didn’t pee since the first time. He again didn’t ejaculate in me, but im still worried about the precum. Should I get an emergency contraceptive just incase??

Hello Briar234

Thank you for writing.

There is some risk if there was no urination but the odds are that you have no risk due to the fact that you are on birth control. Most antibiotics don't interfere with it - look up the kind you took to see if there is a risk. If there isn't, you're all set.
