Guide

Hello shahimur,

Welcome to the EmpowHER community.

The first day of your period is day one of the new menstrual cycle. It ends with the first day of your next period. Count the days in between and you will know the length of your cycle.

Ovulation happens in the middle of the cycle, around week two. You are most likely to become pregnant if you have unprotected sex five days before ovulation and on the day of ovulation.

Speak with your gynecologist about your age and pregnancy.

According to the March of Dimes, "Being pregnant after age 35 makes certain complications more likely, including premature birth, birth defects and getting pregnant with multiples."

Regards,
Maryann
