pregnancy

Hi
well basically in october (towards the end from either 20th-31st) me and my bf were making out. I'm sorry do not remember the exact date this happened as i never thought it could be a risk until now.
I've read that dry humping does not lead to pregnancy but on that day he did take his penis out and because i am so petrified that he may ejaculate he wrapped his hand round it and whilst he did that he pressed it against me. It wasn't even out for a minute because i kept telling him to put it back inside his boxer. Anyway, thereafter, he fingered me. He said that he did not ejaculate and i do trust him but what if there was a small amount of pre-ejaculate with sperm? He said that nothing leaked and his hands were dry but i'm a little skeptical. I didn't ask earlier because i didn't see any pregnancy risk because he did not finger me straight away and assumed that if there was any on his hands it would've dried out and the sperm would've died. Before he fingered me, we were just rubbing and he was touching my stomach area. However, now i am concerned because i have been feeling very nauseous these last couple of days. Please bare in mind that i was towards the end of my period at this point so could've ovulated that day or the following days?

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. I am glad you chose to reach out to our community with your concern.

From what you have shared, there was no risk for becoming pregnant. The feeling of nausea is most likely related to anxiety and the worry of possibly being pregnant.

Since this happened at the end of your period, you are correct that you would not have been ovulating and thus, no risk.

Also, pre-ejaculate fluid can contain sperm if the guy has recently had an ejaculation such as with masturbation. Some sperm stays behind in his urethra, but if he urinates soon after, any sperm is flushed out. So, basically there is not a high risk of sperm being in pre-ejaculate fluid.

If you were wearing pants the entire time, there was no way for any sperm to enter your body.

Sperm can live outside the body for about 20 minutes, so once the semen is dry, sperm is dead.

Anonymous, I hope all this evidence calms your fears and proves no chance for pregnancy.

Regards,
Maryann

I know he did not ejaculate earlier.
I had my leggings on but when he was fingering me his fingers were obviously in.

My only concern is of pre ejaculate fluid still being on his hands because he did wrap his penis to give me 100% assurance that he did not ejaculate.. But the fact that he touched me after keeps on replaying in my head.

Hi Anonymous,

No one can get that concern out of your head but you by acknowledging the facts. Stressing over this might cause a delay in the start of your next period and only increase your level of concern.

Regards,
Maryann
