What is the likelihood of pregnancy from pre-ejaculate or pre-seminal fluid?

Hi Anon,

Thank you for your question. It's really difficult to say what your likelihood of getting pregnant from preseminal fluid is because sometimes preseminal fluid contains sperm and sometimes it does not. However, due to the fact that it may contain sperm in it, there has to be at least a small chance of being able to conceive this way. If it helps, the chances of getting pregnant through precum are not as high as if you were to have had unprotected sex with ejaculation. It really all depends on many factors--whether or not there was sperm in it, whether or not it was enough to get you pregnant, and of course whether or not you were ovulating. If you are late on your period, make sure you take a pregnancy test.

Good Luck,

Rosa
