I HAVE IRREGULAR PERIODS . MY LAST WERE ON 23 APRIL . I STILL AM WAITING FOR NEXT TO COME . MY BF AND I HAD UNPROTECTED SEX ON 4 MAY.(WITHDRAWAL METHOD ) . I DID A HPT ON 27TH MAY AND 4TH JUNE. BOTH NEGATIVE . I HAD BLOOD HCG TEST ON 8TH JUNE. WHICH TURNED OUT TO BE LESS THAN 1.20.
WHY HCG IS PRESENT EVEN THOUGH I AM NOT PREGNANT ?
WHY AM I NOT GETTING ANY PERIODS ?
ARE THERE ANY CHANCES I COULD STILL BE PREGNANT?
I can not afford to be pregnant . my parents would kill me if they found out this . i can not go to a gynecologist alone .

i had a back injury this month when i slipped in bathroom . i had muscle relaxants for the same .
wondering if this could be a reason for no periods .

Ashima,
An hCG level of less than 5mIU/ml is considered negative for pregnancy.
What is discussed during your gynecology appointment is confidential and only to stay between you and your OB/GYN.
Ultrasounds are not required unless your OB/GYN suspects possible ovarian cysts are the cause of your missed period.
No one can be 100% sure you aren't pregnant until you go to the doctor, of course.

Ashima,
Surgery, medications, stress, and many other factors can contribute to a missed period. If you have irregular periods then this isn't something new to you.
Negative pregnancy tests at this point mean that you are NOT pregnant. HCG in faint trace amounts can be found while still being negative.
Good luck and please use protection ALWAYS if you cannot afford to be pregnant.

hey Rosa thanx a lot for the reply .
you just mentioned that HCG in faint traces can be found .. but why is it there in my system ?
i mean if i am not pregnant its presence should not be there .
i told my mom today that i have not had my periods yet . and asked her to give me medicine .
she gonna take me to a gynecologist tomorrow . i dont want to go . what if that gyne finds out that i did something . my parents gonna kill me. or i will do that .. i cant face them ..
and Rosa is any ultrasound required ?
i mean are you 100% sure i am not pregnant ?
i feel bit of cramps now and then as if my periods are coming .
