Hi. We had sex when it was the 4th day of my cycle. I was still slightly bleeding at that time. We used condoms and after he ejaculate, i went to the bathroom to check the condom and figured that nothings wrong. But after i put water inside the condom i washed it with water and threw it and wash my hands again and i carelessly went to wash my vagina. Will there still be sperm when i wash my vagina? Can be pregnant this way?

Hello Gailskie,

Welcome again to EmpowHER.

You were not at any risk for becoming pregnant because you were still bleeding. Also, you washed your hands and should have removed any ejaculated semen.

Regards,
Maryann

Thanks for your response but i only washed my hands with plain water. Can semen be washed off with just water?

Hi Gailskie,

Water will rinse off the semen, using soap with water is always better in cleaning.
