Pregnant or just period?

I recently got taken of the implanon implant and onto pills. I lost the last 5 of my pills and started a complete new pack the same day. I was hours off, and there has been a few times where I was a few hours late. On my last week of the pills I started to get strong period cramps. I NEVER get cramps until the EXACT day I'm going to bleed. I had them for the whole week with very very little spotting and then at the time of my period I had no cramps. I've been really tired and my nipples are sore to touch (but not my breasts. I took a HPT the day I was supposed to start my period and it was negative. I started getting very light light bleeding 3 days later. I've been having bad period cramps and they're only this bad when I bleed heavy. And I'm barely bleeding. Like not enough for a tampon or pad. Barely even enough for a liner. Please help!!

Hello and thank you for sharing your question.
I'm sorry to hear about this awful experience, and would love to give you advice on the matter.
The last week of the birth control pills do not have hormones. They are basically filler pills which allow you to stay on schedule. During that last week of pills, is when you should have your period.
The reason why you period and hormones are so irregular is because you did not allow your body to have your period during that last week of pills. You continued taking hormone pills straight through. This threw off your hormonal balance and causes the problems you are experiencing.
At this point, your body/hormones are confused. You do not have any permanent damage or something dangerously wrong. You need to wait, and keep taking the birth control correctly and consistently. If you do this, your period will return to normal over the next few cycles.

By last week of pills, I meant my last week of hormone pills. The pills I am on don't have the week of sugar pills. They have the 3 weeks of hormone and then I'm supposed to throw that pack away, allow a week for my period and then start a new pack. I don't have sugar pills, the pharmacist said I just have to remember when to take my next pack.

The same principle applies in the case.
Some birth control pills do not have the same amount of hormonal dosage in each pill. So, for example, the last weeks of pills, are not the same as the first week.
In that case the problem would be 2-fold. 1. that you took pills continuously without stopping, 2. in the wrong order.
