Hi, I am 17 years old and have had a regular period for 4 years now. My last period ended on february 18th. It is now march 29th and my period still hasn't came. On march 12th I had protected sex, but since my period is so late, I was wondering if it is still possible that I could be pregnant because I am starting to worry.

Hi Anon,

It is still possible since nothing is 100% successful. But, remember that there are different factors that can affect your period-- stress, eating habits, exercise all contribute to menstrual cycle. Though any one of these reasons could be why you're late, you can take a home pregnancy test and find out for sure. At this point, if you were pregnant it would show up on an hcg test strip.

Keep us posted and good luck!
